"TYE (TiE Young entrepreneurs) is a TiE Global program for School students, classes 9 through 12 (college students are not allowed). TYE is dedicated to serve and ignite the minds of young aspiring entrepreneurs. After the successful run of this modular program at TiE Boston chapter for 5 consecutive years, TiE Delhi-NCR partners with the Boston team to bring this curriculum for the very first time in India. |

The curriculum includes mentor based programs, taught by established industry leaders to foster innovation, leadership skills, creativity and self-confidence among the young high school students. |

Program Overview: |
|
|
The TYE program in India is run by TiE Delhi-NCR and supported Career Launcher. Enrollment of students will take place in August. Classes will commence in September 2010. 2 months of classroom teaching and workshops will include guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs and professionals. Classes will be held at a central location. Post the classes, students will work in teams and brainstorm to generate business ideas. Mentors (Gurus) will be assigned to students who will guide them to build a successful/ viable B-Plan. Students will present their business plan to a panel of judges comprising established Venture Capitalists & Entrepreneurs. Winning team will be announced in April 2011 and will participate in the Global competition – with student teams from other TiE Chapters – in May at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) USA TYE Global Prize of US$ 25,000 will be awarded to the wining team at TiEcon Silicon Valley, USA, the annual flagship event of TiE. |
