iCONGO is a membership driven association of the NGOs and the people, for the NGOs and the people and by the NGOs and the people of India who want to lead the change by getting proactively involved with the cause dear to their heart through a charity of choice that is pre screened and accredited.
iCONGO has been very frugal with expenses and appointed the first paid employees in July 2006 after almost 18 months of operations purely with volunteers
iCONGO is led by a team of committed professionals and is founded and promoted by a professional who leads as the Chief Volunteer purely on a honorary basis thus cutting out lots of high salaries.
iCONGO is proactively driven by 2 Directors based at Mumbai and Delhi with an overall cost to company of 30,000 and 11,500.
iCONGO applied for 80G in 2007 purely to facilitate funds for its members.
